The Love

Fall 1992

   A long time ago, women were not able to enter school in China.  There was a woman whose name was En-ti Ju who longed to enter school.  She dressed herself as a boy.  Then she entered school and took classes with other boys.
   In the class, she met San-bo Lan, who was a handsome man.  They became classmates and good friends immediately.
   San-Bo didn't know En-ti was a woman, even after they graduated from school.  En-ti had fallen in love with San-bo for a long time.  But En-ti's father forced her to marry with another man  Then San-bo got sick and died.  En-ti refused the wedding which was prepared by her father.  She killed herself.
