The Grandmother Tiger

Fall 1992

A long time ago, there were many people in a village.  That was a peaceful and warm place.  One day, something happened.
   There was a family which had two children and a mother.  One day the mother had to go somewhere to do something, and she couldn't come back that night.  She told the children, "Be careful, don't let strangers come in."  Then she left.
   In the village there was a bad tiger that liked to eat children.  Now, she knew that there were two children, so she camouflaged herself as a grandmother.  In the middle of the night, she ate the younger child.  when she ate the child, the older child found out that she was a tiger, not a grandmother.
   Then the child ran outside, and hid in a tree to wait for her mother to come home.
